“I am grateful for her support and guidance before, during, and after giving birth. She helped me envision my ideal birth, and also helped my partner and I prepare for how we would navigate challenges should they arise. This allowed us to go into labor with confidence, calm, and empowerment.

– Sarah, Greenfield

Why Birth Doula Support?

Continuous Support During Birth Can Lead To:

  • Decreased Chance of Cesarean or Induction
  • Shorter Labors on Average
  • Reduced Use of Pain Medications
  • Higher 5-Minute Apgar Scores
  • Greater Overall Satisfaction with the Birth Experience

Note: It Takes a Village’s support is non-medical. All medical decisions need to be made by your healthcare team.

“My doula stayed by my side the entire time with unwavering support. She was encouraging, gentle, and completely authentic in every moment.”
