IRAs: Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs)

Are you 71 or older? You can make a meaningful difference for local families while potentially reducing your taxes by directing your required IRA withdrawal to It Takes a Village.

With tax advantages available for distributions up to $100,000, your generosity creates lasting impact where it matters most, benefiting both your financial situation and families in our community. Consult your tax advisor to maximize benefits, then contact your IRA administrator to arrange your gift directly to It Takes a Village.

Donor Advised Funds

Make your charitable giving simple and impactful with a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). DAFs allow you to contribute assets, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to qualified public charities over time. Many donors find DAFs to be a flexible, tax-efficient way to support the causes they care about most. 

To make a grant recommendation to It Takes a Village from your DAF, simply provide your fund administrator with our legal name and EIN number (Hilltown Village Inc., EIN #47-1394720), and indicate whether your is unrestricted or designated to a specific project. Your gift will help us continue building the village every family deserves.
